Our Objectives
Site Overview
The site is located within the Royal Docks of London in the Borough of Newham. It is just south of Beckton Park and the A1020 link road, with the busy London City Airport located south across the other side of the dock water.

The area of this analysis and proposal covers parts of a large site which presents a wealth of opportunities, located nearby to the University of East London, London Design and Engineering UTC and The Borough of Newham's head office, with convenient DLR and Elizabeth Line transport links. Three iconic protected heritage buildings are located on the site including the former Dock Manager's Offices, Central Buffet and the Compressor House.

Meet the Team
This project required group collaboration to bring various elements of the site and local appraisal together and establish a combined vision statement and design plan for the redevelopment of the Royal Albert Dock.

The initial ideas and vision composed as a group are the basis for our individual masterplan briefs. This includes design concepts for sites within the development area as well as how the vision and ideas will be successfully implemented. These are presented on our individual websites, linked below.
