  • Create a high quality green public realm that is both visually appealing and engaging street furniture

  • Affordable and social rent housing that can be used by all

  • Community and potential sport facilities - support centre for all (mothers, disabled etc.), workshop spaces, community activities, creative hub (music, arts, aerobic sports), including varied cultures and diversity

  • Improve bus and walking accessibility as well as cycling

  • Utilise the existing development, refurbishment and integration into the new site

  • An array of activities that present reasons to use the site

  • Integration of historical buildings as a gateway onto the site and the centre of the new community
